What Clients Say
I was impressed by the welcome I received when I visited the bus. I also noticed and participated in excellent interaction with local people and children visiting the bus. Keep up the good work!
It’s nice for the Scouts to have different people in to run activities with them and the Museum on the Move is different than playing games and boating. I guess the main thing they learnt was how art is all around them and you can be good at art without being a great painter or something.
The staff on the bus were excellent, asking engaging questions and encouraging the children to explore. The exhibition created a real buzz to fuel the pupils’ interest.
A lot of these young people will never have visited a museum before. They probably won’t have been on a school trip because they weren’t at school.
I just want to say thank you for the lovely day we spent with the Museum on The Move on Tuesday 17th June. This is a wonderful service and our residents got so much out of it. We have many residents who are very poorly and who need to be moved into wheelchairs and to toilets with a hoist, so it is very difficult to take them out anywhere; this felt like a trip out for them and made a lovely change to the day. We got almost 30 residents onto the bus in one day and quite a few of the staff enjoyed looking at it too. Many thanks to your fantastic staff who did a great job.
